Middle School
The Christian Life Academy Middle School addresses the special educational needs of students in grades 4, 5, & 6. The curriculum focuses on active student engagement in order to foster academic excellence in the transitional years between elementary school and junior high school. Middle school students have the opportunity to participate in many activities, programs and organizations that enhance their educational experience at CLA. The middle school is located in the classroom suite above the CLA gym and includes classrooms, offices, a computer lab and a science lab.
The middle school falls under the administrative leadership of secondary principal Peter Barnes. Students and parents in the middle school benefit from Mr. Barnes’ twenty-six years of educational experience – twenty-four of those years served at CLA! Additionally, the middle school is blessed with the leadership skills of Mrs. Terri Wallis in the role of middle school assistant principal. Mrs. Wallis has a Master’s degree in school leadership, many years of experience in the middle school age group and a proven record of teaching excellence at CLA. Mrs. Wallis supervises the daily operations of the middle school from her office located in the upper gym classroom suite.
